Pei-Yu Wei was an America in the World Consortium Pre-Doctoral Fellow and political science Ph.D. candidate at Duke University with a concentration in Security, Peace and Conflict and a second specialization in methodology (game theory track).

Her research interests lie in international political economy. Specifically, she is interested in how third-party states and firm actors affect the implementation of economic sanctions.

Pei-Yu received her bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from the University of Hong Kong in 2014 and her M.A. in political economy in 2016 from New York University.
